"A must have book for your Kindle!"

-First of all I must say a big congratulation to Ms Chase for a well written and excellent debut novel! I don't usually give reviews, however I felt that the author should be praised for her work.

I don't read crime suspense romance novels, but the first page drew me in and the next I knew I was still reading into earlier hours of the morning. I could not put my Kindle down! The characters are well developed, the story line was original and you can see that the author had done her research. (Make sure you read the background profile of the author at the end of the book - you can see that she knows exactly what she's talking about in her novel!)

I loved also that the novel was a Christian/Inspirational fiction weaved with interracial romance. It combined two of my favorite romance sub-genres. It also inspired me too. Even if you're not particular to Christian fiction - I guarantee the book will not thwart you from reading more of Brandon and Maggie's story!

The only disappointment I have after reading the novel is that I have to wait till November 2012 for the second installment of the series! However I can say that I can just re-read Brandon and Maggie's story till then. I'm looking forward to reading Doug's story Ms Chase - I'll be patient until then ;)

So if you're looking for a book that has suspense, witty humor, encourages you and keeps you on your toes Christian romance, then this is the book for you! (Even if you don't like suspense romance - get it! I'm sure glad I did!)

-It's been a long time since I read a romance story that really caught my attention, but this one did in a big way. The storyline was engaging and the characters were well-developed. I did find myself wishing the story were longer so I could spend more time with the characters. I say well-done; I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

-I bought this book for two reasons. One, Chase is a fellow blogger and I wanted to support her first novel. Secondly, I love romantic suspenses and the premise and cover intrigued me.
I didn't know what to expect but I honestly didn't expect to immediately be sucked in! The heroine is a government profiler who specializes in profiling serial killers. When a killer she helped put behind bars escapes, her life is kind of thrown into turmoil. She has to not only prove herself again (he was the first guy she helped catch) but try to stop him before he hurts anyone else. Then there's the hunky tracker who is helping in the investigation...he has issues of his own yet finds himself drawn to Maggie (the heroine) despite his determination to stay away from women.
While I really liked the characters and could relate to Maggie in a few different ways, what really sucked me into this story was the pacing and authenticity. This story FELT real. The way things are handled, the dialogue. And the pacing was fabulous. I didn't want to put the book down. There are some editing issues in the edition I read but overall, they did not affect my reading satisfaction. I can't wait to read more from Chase!

-This book was a great read. I found myself emotionally invested in the characters from the very beginning. I found myself thinking about them even when I wasn't reading. Both the main characters are witty, interesting, and well developed. They are each likeable (Maggie more than Brandon IMO), but both had faults that made them real and easy to want the best for. The author did a great job of balancing their flaws and personalities with their actions which were completely in line with the persona's the author created for them.

The storyline is different (a plus), reality based, and clearly intriguing. To say the least I really enjoyed the book. I loved the set up for the second book, and I look forward to finding out if Doug finds his true love. I also hope the author includes a small Maggie and Brandon cameo ;). Enjoy the read!!!!

Congrats Ms. Chase on an excellent debut!
